I purchased the Factory Pro Stage 1 jet kit. This basically entails taking apart the top and bottom portion of each carb and replacing a couple parts. 

First, you replace the main #130 jets with either the #135 or #138 main jets in the kit. 

Second, you replace the needles and set the clips to the appropriate height

There are a few more tweaks like adjusting the fuel bowl level and idle screws, but I haven’t messed with those yet. The bike idles and revs much much better than before. Can’t do much when it’s 15 degrees out.

You can see the bright new jet on the left and the dull jet on the second carb. In the second photo you can see the different sized main jets.
